Dry Needling

Chronic muscle, tendon and soft tissue injuries can leave us with painful movements that adjustments alone can’t always resolve. Trigger points and myofascial bands in the soft tissue can alter or restrict movements and cause pain. Using acupuncture needles to treat these soft tissue disruptions, based on the musculoskeletal anatomy, is a faster and less painful way of treating these soft tissue issues than using manual therapies alone. This is just another tool we have to help get you back out there to enjoy the activities you love as fast as possible.

Graston Technique® (GT)

Soft tissue injuries can be debilitating and frustrating. Graston Technique® (GT) is a manual therapy that uses instruments to massage and gently scrape the skin and underlying tissue. It is an effective treatment for many soft tissue conditions, this includes chronic, acute and post-surgical injuries. GT therapy can help you improve faster so you can get out and enjoy life again.

Here is list of some of the most common conditions treated with Graston Technique® therapy:

  • Ankle Pain (Achilles Tendinosis/itis)
  • Wrist Pain (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome)
  • Neck Pain (Cervical Sprain/Strain)
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Hamstring Injuries
  • Hip Pain
  • IT Band (Iliotibial Band)
  • Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylosis/itis)
  • Back Pain (Lumbar Sprain/Strain)
  • Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylosis/itis)
  • Knee Pain (Patellofemoral Disorders)
  • Heel Pain (Plantar Fasciitis)
  • Shoulder Pain (Rotator Cuff Tendinosis/itis)

Electrical Stimulation

Electric stimulation therapy is a therapeutic treatment that applies electrical stimulation in treating muscle spasms and pain. It can help prevent atrophy and build strength in patients with injuries.

Soft Tissue Treatment

Chiropractic adjustments alone are effective, but when also addressing the soft tissue, this has a very positive affect on recovery and healing. At Lifecity Chiropractic we address your joints, muscles, nerves and other soft tissues all together for a more lasting outcome. This may include trigger point work, myofascial adhesions, PNF stretching, Active Release Technique and more.
